Year 4 were lucky enough to have a visit from For2Feet recently. They took the children around the local roads to help them to understand road awareness and how to keep safe.
‘We went on a pedestrian training workshop and learnt how to cross the road safely. We were in a group where the adult asked us some questions. There are many crossings such as the pelican crossing, zebra crossing and island crossing. We had lots of fun because I was learning new things, for example when you are crossing the road there are bumps near the crossing that are there to help blind people. We also learnt that there is a T crossing, on a T crossing you have to look three ways left, right and forward.’
