On Wednesday 8th March 2023 it was International Wom-en’s Day. Barley Lane celebrated this by having Let Girls Play Football all afternoon with Mrs S Landa. The sports helpers were Zah-ra 6J, Jiya 6M, Ayisha 6R, Joyful 6M, Halima 6M, Amarni 6R, Amelia 6T, Inaya 6J, Aliza 6N, Juliet 6R.
‘Recently it was International Women’s Day and that is when we appreciate what all girls have done for us. We had an hour of PE and some football and it was amazing, everybody had a smile on their face including me! The session was really fun and we took part in lots of activities’ Ayat 6J
