This half term, Year 2 have enjoyed a trip to Ilford Fire Station where they learnt about the role of fire-fighters and the equipment they use. Children enjoyed exploring the inside of a fire engine, learnt the importance of heat cameras, watched how an emergency call is received at the station and even got to use the hoses! It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning for all. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped on the trip.
