Children have made a fantastic effort this week to walk and cycle to school and those that did received a sticker from their teacher. We encourage children to walk, cycle or scooter to school; It’s been proven that children who do some form of exercise, espe-cially a walk before school, do better in class be-cause they arrive refreshed, fit and ready to learn.
We also had Dr Bike pay us a visit this week, he mended and serviced some of the children’s bikes so we hope they’ll be able to go for a bike ride these holidays!
Cycle Helmet Design Competition: Well done to the following children who en-tered the competition to design an eco helmet. The winners are: Ajeesh 2B, Sawdah 2B, Dua 2B, Sumaiya 5C Each of them will receive a prize—a cycle helmet!
